About

Jen is a twenty-something unpublished author with an office job requiring skills in math she severely lacks. She has a BA in English, which means virtually nothing except that she’s analyzed Heart of Darkness one too many times and really hates unnecessary quotation marks and excessive ellipses. With her cat and husband, she lives on the thirteenth floor of an apartment building in Honolulu where the three of them enjoy pantsless weekends with snacks and Netflix. She can’t choose just one, so if you ask her favorite movie, she’ll say that Part One of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is among her top five at least. It makes her immensely sad like most of her favorite things, but she thinks tequila tastes like Christmas, so buy her a margarita if you’re one of those jerks who needs her to smile. She’ll say she doesn’t but she thinks she’s all that on Words With Friends (sn: jenibo.ag). She accepts all challengers, but those willing to sit with her for an old-fashioned face-to-face Scrabble game are closest to her heart. The internet has taught her a thing or two about feminism and self-love but also slyly reinforces her negative inclinations toward everything else. “But, whatever,” she says, pretending she never cared anyway. And she’s switched between Harry, Niall, and Louis for the past few years, but now it’s almost always Niall. Or Harry. Or Niall. The End.

She can be contacted at jenibo.ag@gmail.com.

I really should write something in this About section, huh? I just don’t know what about me people want to know when they read this. And how can I make it interesting enough that people feel inclined to continue to read my blog? There is just too much pressure here. I will come back to it later.

SIDE NOTE: I really like the way you write in you posts, it seems to fit well with the way I think (not saying we think the same way). When people express there thoughts in these blogs I’ve read so far I don’t get a good sense of the way they speak, and I can’t see it in my own writing (which freaks me out and makes me think do I have no soul or something). The way you write in the posts so far seem pop out as a voice in my head as I read the words, I mean this as a compliment but you can take it anyway you like. So I imagine this story you keep refering to would be epic reading, for me anyway…
Do you mind if I make your voice Morgan Freeman’s voice for fun, and when you talk about people in your life I can pretend they’re penguins? It won’t be for long, it just makes me laugh when I do.

And, thank you! I appreciate the compliment. And I’m glad you hear some sort of voice in my writing, even if it is Morgan Freeman’s.
